Fourth Annual Give It Up For Gulu 5K and 1 Mile Doggie Dash

On September 24th, our annual 5K event will take place at Rockford Park in Wilmington, Delaware.  This event is the major fundraiser for St. Catherine of Siena Nursery School.  The past several months are filled with planning the event, from seeking both financial and gift sponsors to ordering t-shirts and everything else in between.  It's been amazing to see how many local and national businesses are willing to help.  

This year, we will be honored by the presence of U.S. Senator Christopher Coons who will make the opening remarks.  He visited Gulu, Uganda and knows first hand the people we are helping.  The registrations and donations are coming in and we are so grateful for each and every one!  

On August 29th, the children of St. Catherine's held a run/walk event of their very own to be in solidarity with us.  This was their way to show all who run/walk for them that they are very happy for this opportunity.  

Thanks for all who have donated, participated, organized, volunteered and prayed for our endeavors to give hope to the children in Anaka.
